A humanoid covered in fine serpent scales, their eyes are bright yellow and haunting. A close look reveals strange vents over its body along the neck.
A yuan-ti bred to produce an aerosolized toxin that influences the mind and confuses thoughts, the breed also turned out to be a powerful spellcaster in its own right. Using a combination of its toxins and its spells it maintains disorder and chaos within the enemy.
Yuan-ti bewilders speak common and yuan-ti. They are slightly shorter than the average human.
Combat[edit]
The yuan-ti bewilder works best with other yuan-ti, sowing discord in the enemy with their poison gas while their own poison immune allies are unaffected. Due to their weaker constitution they tend to stay in the back ranks and use their spells and crossbows as needed.
Alternate Form (Ex): A yuan-ti bewilder has the ability to transform into a tiny or small viper at will as a swift action. A transformed yuan-ti gains the Strength and Dexterity scores of the viper as well as its natural attacks, but retains its own Constitution, mental ability scores, and Hit Dice.
Paranoia Poison Mist (Ex): The yuan-ti bewilder can emit a thin gaseous haze from their body as per obscuring mist as a standard action, except the gas is too thin to block sight or offer concealment. Those who begin their turns within the cloud must make a Fortitude save DC 14 or be poisoned with a mind-altering drug. They become At Bay against opponents and any creature which attacks them treats them as flanked as they hallucinate enemies all around them. This effect lasts as long as they remain inside the cloud and 1d4 rounds after. The cloud lasts for 10 minutes, and the yuan-ti bewilder can use the cloud once per hour.
Spell-Like Abilities (Sp): At will- detect poison, ghost sound, message, speak with animals (snakes only); 3/day-chill touch (DC 14), daze (DC 13), touch of fatigue (DC 13); 1/day-hypnotism (DC 14), lesser confusion (DC 14), ventriloquism (DC 14). The save DCs are Charisma based, caster level 2nd.
