The Wanderer of Cania are warriors who through exposure to the cold hell of Cania gained significant magical powers with ice magic. While not all Wanderers of Cania are evil, most are worshipers of Mephistopheles the Lord of the Eight Layer. This, combined with the unpleasantness of the Wanderer's magic make them fairly unpopular among the general populace. The Wanderer's abilities include powerful cold spells, freezing someone in place, make object and even armors and weapon out of ice among other dangerous abilities.

Becoming a Wanderer of Cania[edit]

Special: Must have wanderer or elected domain on Cania for at least one year

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Wanderer of Cania.

Spells: The Wanderer of Cania possess the ability to cast arcane spell spontaneously, unlike a sorcerer she has access to all her spells on her spell list. Unlike normal arcane spells she do not suffer any arcane spell failure from armor and shield she is proficient with. To cast a particular spell, she must have an Intelligence or Charisma score of at least 10 + the spell's level (whichever is higher). Her bonus spells are based on your the highest between her Intelligence and Charisma. Saves to avoid the effects of your spells have a DC of 10 + 1/2 character level + your Intelligence or Charisma bonus (whichever is higher). The Wanderer of Cania's caster level is equal to her character level.

The Wanderer of Cania's spell list is the following:

1st— chill touch, lesser cone of cold, freezing sphere, ray of winter

2nd— cone of cold, ice storm, freeze mind, polar ray, pogonip bomb

3rd— arrow of white bloom, creeping chills, freezing fogCArc, glacial juggernaut, Stromberg's frozen court, ur cone of cold, wall of ice

4th— blizzard, fimbulvetr, heat draining vortex, ice 9, ur polar ray

Embrace of Cania: A 1st level Wanderer of Cania is immune to cold damage and [cold] effects. At 5th level the Wanderer of Cania gain fast healing 3, which stacks with any other source of fast healing when in area which is natural under 0 Celsius.

Wanderer of Cania (Su): A 1st level Wanderer of Cania can use plane shift (self and willing creature only) with no error chance to Cania or from Cania to the material plane but only in a cold or arctic environment. Additionally while she is on Cania she may use greater teleport at will.

Wintersmith (Su): A 1st level Wanderer of Cania can make any armor, shield or weapon she proficient with out of Stygian Ice as a immediate action. The created armament last indefinitely but melt away in 3 rounds if it ever leave the Wanderer of Cania. The armament she create with this ability are automatically enhanced as per greater magic weapon or magic vestment with an unlimited duration. When fighting her created weapon she may use her Intelligence or her Charisma instead of her Strength or Dexterity for attack or damage as well as combat maneuvers.

Additionally she may use minor creation and major creation at will with a duration of instantaneous, however all created objects are made of plain ice and melt if not refrigerated. She may also use fabricate at will, but it only affect ice and snow.

At 6th level she may make her weapons out of Ocanthus.

Snap Freeze (Su): A 2nd level Wanderer of Cania has the ability to flash freeze creatures and object as a standard action. In order to use freeze she must first make a successful touch attack. If she target a creature it take a Dexterity penalty equal to 1d6 + half her class level. If she target an object it become slippery and covered in ice, effectively replicating the effect of grease and it hardness is halved. The Wanderer of Cania may only freeze an object which fit in a 5x5 square per class level, if she target a larger object she instead only freeze part of it, leaving a sheet of ice which act like grease up to the maximum number of square she can affect but has no other effect. Freeze last 1 minute per level or until the surface or creature take at least a number of fire damage equal to the Wanderer's class level.

At 4th level the Wanderer of Cania can freeze her opponents's armor, decreasing the armor's max dexterity bonus by 5 and increase the armor check penalty and arcane spell failure of the armor by 5 and 20% respectively. This even work on clothing, which when frozen count as having a max dexterity bonus of 5, an armor check penalty of 5 and a arcane spell failure of 20%.

At 6th the Wanderer of Cania now inflict a dexterity penalty of 2d6 + half her class level. Additionally she may make the dexterity penalty into dexterity damage. Any creature brought to 0 Dexterity with Freeze is frozen solid, much like flesh to stone, except it is ice (hardness 2 and the risk of melting). If shee use dexterity damage the ability allow a Fortitude, which if successful reduce the Dexterity damage to 1.

At 8th level she may target creature at a range of 60 ft., requiring a ranged touch attack.

At 10th level she may target one creature per character level, each of which must be within 30 ft. of the another target. She make a touch attack or ranged touch attack against all creature she target.

Shatter (Su): A 3rd level Wanderer of Cania can shatter any number of creature or object she froze with her snap freeze ability. She may do so as a swift action, dealing 5 points of damage per class level to objects and 5 points of damage per point of Dexterity penalty (or damage) inflicted by freeze on creatures. Using shatter immediately end the effect of snap freeze on the subjects she targeted.

Cold Eyes (Su): A 4th level Wanderer of Cania has adapted to the condition of the cold dark plane, she gain see in darkness as a devil and is constantly under the effect of see through fog.

Fire Wane (Su): A 5th level Wanderer of Cania can kill warm simply by being, she gain Fire Hindrance 50% and she may extinguishes any nonmagical medium or smaller flame within 100 ft. of her to die out as a free action.

At 9th level she become immune to fire.

Winter Burial (Su): At 7th level, whenever the Wander of Cania kill a creature with cold damage, she may leave a crystal of ice containing the creature's soul. Treat this ability as soul bind except the material component if created upon the creature's death. This also apply to any creature she froze solid and shattered.

Final Embrace (Su): A 10th level Wanderer of Cania gain the Half-Fiend template with no level adjustment, she retain her original alignment.
