The creature gets a sharp headache, as if it ate something cold too fast. Wait... what was it doing again?
You freeze the very thoughts of a creature as if they were a physical substance. A creature which fails the saving throw is dazed for 1 round, and then reduced to Int - for 1 round/level. In their mindless state, they gain immunity to further mind-affecting effects, but pre-existing effects continue to persist and can in fact persist beyond their original duration, as the duration for any mental status effects is effectively halted for the duration of freeze mind. The creature retains allegiances, alignment, and personality, to the limit it can express in its mindless state. It does not form any memories for the duration, and at the end of the spell, they will not recall the time they were under its effects.
Material Component: An ice cube.
