The next time you hit with a melee weapon attack during this spell’s duration, you may make an additional attack roll - Using the same bonus, but without advantage or disadvantage - Against the target, drawing an additional timeline into convergence with your own at the exact moment you strike.
If the secondary attack roll succeeds, your attack deals 2d4 points of additional Force damage, and you may make another attack roll, repeating this process and adding 2d4 additional damage for each successful attack roll, until one of these secondary attack rolls misses.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the initial attack deals an additional 2d4 points of Force damage for each slot level above 5th.
