I'd make it so you count as a different alignment for all effects rather than both. Right now it's ambiguous--if you choose LG but your actual alignment is NE, could you be a paladin because you count as LG? Or do you stop being a paladin because you're NE? You would be fine, you are still LG, and that's the requirement, which you meet. Actually this issue has come up elsewhere for things like Hellbred, and for Evil subtype things. Given that there is a succubus paladin (who still pings as evil in spite of being LG), it seems that simply having at least one aspect be LG allows you to retain things. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 11:32, 23 November 2014 (UTC)
