Stone Dragon Errata

Introduction[edit]

While the Tome of Battle is a great book, it falls short in a few places. The Stone Dragon discipline is already a little on the weak side compared to other disciplines, and they face a heavy restriction of never leaving the ground. In D&D, if you don't fly at least some, you don't win. This variant rule gives the Stone Dragon class some leeway while keeping the flavor of the restriction.

Rule Mechanics[edit]

Stone Dragon maneuvers can be used when not in contact with the ground. However, any attack rolls or save DCs take a -4 penalty when not in contact with the ground. Maneuvers which manipulate terrain or affect rocks now conjure them when not in contact with the ground, making the maneuvers supernatural abilities when doing so.
