Starspawn Warlock
These warlocks, also known as starborn or cosmic warlocks, have an affinity with the multiverse, the night sky and forces and creatures from the Far Realm. They are renowned prophets and madmen.
Class: Warlock In The Dungeon
Prerequisites: Must know the invocation all-seeing eyes or otherwordly whispers.
Level: 3rd and 8th
Replaces: Damage Reduction, Fiendish Resilience
Benefit: You gain the following abilities:
- Eldritch Lore: This feature substitutes the damage reduction feature, as well as all of its improvement. At level 3rd you gain a feature similar to the bardic knowledge of a bard. You may use it one time per day and it must revolve around ancient, forgotten, mystical or otherwordly knowledge (any mundane notion or topic is excluded from this feature), as you delve in eldritch lore by unconventional means. You may use it an extra time at level 7th, 11th, 15th and 19th. By level 15th, once per week, you may replicate the spell commune as a spell-like ability, by some sort of ritual, with the same topics as your eldritch lore ability.
- Cryptic Thoughts: This feature substitutes as fiendish resilience, as well as all of its improvement. You gain a bonus on saves against divination effects equal to +3 by level 8th. It increases by one at 13th level an by two at level 18th. One time per day per Charisma modifier (minimum one), as an immediate action, you may bounce back to the source (usually the caster) a divination effect that failed to affect you (if possible). The target must make a save throw as appropriate (immunities don't work in this case, but spell resistance does: use your caster level) or be subject to the effect of its own divination.
