5e Spell Soul Summons
3rd-level conjuration
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self
Components: V, S
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour
Casters: Bard, Druid, Cleric, Sorcerer, Warlock

You look within yourself to conjure your own soul, which separates from your body and takes its own form. When you cast this spell, your Soul appears to be pulled from your body, emerging in an unoccupied space adjacent to you. You choose the form it takes, though it is translucent and cannot be more than one size larger than your size. Your Soul can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain, and takes 1d10 force damage if it ends its turn within an object.

Your Soul has an AC equal to 10 + your spellcasting modifier. As part of casting this spell, you divide your hit points between your Body and your Soul. You may choose to give your Soul up to a maximum number of hit points equal to 30. Your Soul has resistance to all types of damage.

You choose whether you primarily occupy your Body or your Soul. The form you occupy is the form that you can see, hear, smell, speak, and move through on your turn. However, you only make concentration checks when your Body takes damage. While concentrating on this spell, you may use a bonus action on your turn to switch which form you occupy. Alternatively, you may use a bonus action on your turn to allow the form you are not currently occupying to move up to your movement speed.

The spell ends when your Soul drops to 0 hit points, when you lose concentration, or when the duration ends. Furthermore, if your Body drops to 0 hit points, the spell ends, your Soul is shunted back into your Body, and you instead drop to a number of hit points equal to the number your Soul had remaining. No matter how the spell ends, you must immediately make a Constitution saving throw of DC 10 + the spell's level, or take one point of exhaustion.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you gain the following benefits: 1) increase your Soul's maximum number of hit points by 10 for each spell slot level above 3rd. 2) increase your Soul's AC by 1 for each spell slot level above 3rd. 3) increase the DC of the exhaustion Constitution saving throw by 1 for each spell slot level above 3rd.
