Scaling Sharky [Monstrous]
Prerequisites: CorporealBenefit: Gain shark-themed abilities based on your HD total.
- 1 HD: Gain a feral strike bite as detailed below. Gain the Aquatic Subtype with a swim speed equal to half your land speed as well as a +4 racial bonus on Swim checks which you may take 10 on even when threatened. Gain the ability to breathe underwater (but don't lose the ability to breathe air). Gain the Scent (Ex) ability out to 30 feet. If you already have a swim speed from a source other than this feat, it instead increases by +10 feet as a racial bonus.
- 4 HD: Your shark bite becomes more powerful, increasing the base damage by one step and the critical hit threat range by one step. Your swim speed granted by this feat now equals your land speed and your racial bonus on Swim checks improves to +8. Your granted Scent (Ex) ability now extends out to 60 feet. You gain low-light vision. Wild sharks have an initial attitude of indifferent towards you. If you already had a swim speed from a source other than this feat, your swim speed instead increases by another +10 feet as a racial bonus. If you already had low-light vision from another source, gain a +2 racial bonus on Spot skill checks.
- 8 HD: Your shark bite counts as adamantine, cold iron and silver for bypassing damage reduction and hardness and two-handed for damage and whenever beneficial. Gain a natural armor bonus equal to 1/3rd your character level. Wild sharks now have an initial attitude of friendly towards you and you may speak with sharks as by speak with animals. You may make a move action (moving up to your speed) in the same turn to withdraw from any opponents you successfully hit with your shark bite.
Special: This feat counts as Sharky and Improved Sharky, so you can't also take those.
