Shape Incarnum Construct [Incarnum]
Prerequisites: Meldshaper level 1stBenefit: Once per day, you can invest essentia into this feat.
If you have at least 1 point invested into this feat, you may summon a construct made of pure incarnum of your own design as a 1 round action which provokes attacks of opportunity. The incarnum construct behaves as an 1st-level Astral Construct, and you choose its menu abilities as you summon it. You direct your incarnum construct telepathically as a free action and it acts during your own initiative. You may take immediate actions or attacks of opportunity with your incarnum construct, but they use your own actions, up to the construct's normal limits of such action. The construct must stay within 120 feet of you, or else immediately dissipate. The construct may be dispelled as spell effect, using your meldshaper level instead of your caster level. The incarnum construct also dissipates 1 round after you die.. You may dismiss the incarnum construct as a move or swift action.
The incarnum construct can be healed like a normal construct, but otherwise heals 1 hit point each minute it is dismissed. If the construct is destroyed, dispelled or otherwise dissipates, it becomes dismissed and cannot be summoned again until it heals to full hit point, a destroyed construct starts at 0 hit point. This does not apply to a dismissed construct
For each point of incarnum invested in this feat beyond the first, you summon an astral construct of one level higher. Additionally, for each point invested into this feat beyond the first allows the incarnum construct to heal an additional hit point each minute it is dismissed.
You gain 1 point of essentia.
Special: If using Dreamscarred Press’s Akashic Rules, the following adaptations are needed: Alters essentia to essence, investing essentia into binding essence and meldshaper level to veilweaver level. Finally changes the feat name to Shape Akashic Automaton.
