Standing before you is a young woman, wearing a face-concealing veil, fine black chain shirt and long flowing silk robes. Visible on her is minor infernal traits such as horn, tail and hooves.

The leader of the band of the scorpion has an habit of adopting young destitute tiefling, and training them to be an elite cadre of assassin and fighters. They are loyal to her and the band, and are usually extremely willing to serve. They are fitted with quality equipment emblazoned with the symbol of the Band of the Scorpion, equipment they were trained with when they were still young.

Combat

The Scorpion Dervishes prefer to fight in group whenever doing so is possible, they gain quite a bit from flanking their foes and tearing them down with multiple attacks. They are also adept at throwing deadly poisoned knives, although they avoid doing as they tend to be in very limited numbers.

Evasion (Ex): A scorpion dervish can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If she makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the scorpion dervish is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless scorpion dervish does not gain the benefit of evasion.

Spell-like Abilities (Sp): 1/day- darkness.

Swift Throw (Ex): A Scorpion Dervishes may draw and throw one of their poisoned knife as a swift action, they may do so even if their hands are otherwise occupied.

Tactical Ingenuity (Ex): Scorpion Dervishes add their Intelligence bonus on attack and damage roll (usually +1) when attacking flat-footed or flanked target.

Uncanny Dodge (Ex): A Scorpion Dervishes can react to danger before her senses would normally allow her to do so. She retains her Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) even if she is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. However, she still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized.

Whirlwind of Blade (Ex) As a full-attack action, a Scorpion Dervishes may move up to half her speed and make a single attack with both of her Dervishblade Scimitars at full attack bonus against every enemy creature she meet during the movement. Once performed a Scorpion Dervishes cannot uses Whirlwind of Blade for 5 rounds.
