Sacrifice Spell [Metamagic]
Benefit: For nine consecutive rounds prior to the casting of this spell, you must execute one creature every third round, or the spell fails and is wasted. Whenever a creature is executed in this way, it lets out a horrible scream as it dies and for one round thereafter, which can be heard from a number of miles away equal to the spell's slot level plus one. Anyone who hears the scream can pinpoint your location. The screams are so unearthly that they can even be heard through a silence effect.
If the spell has a duration longer than one day, you must sacrifice a creature (with screams) each day or the spell ends.
A sacrifice spell uses up a spell slot one level lower than the spell’s actual level.
Special: Casters with sacrifice spell can choose to learn new spells with sacrifice spell already applied, potentially in order to gain spells beyond their usual limits. Spells learned in this way do not take additional time to cast, although they cannot cast or prepare those spells without sacrifice spell applied.
