Therem was a novice practitioner of magic with very little skill who retired early into his career in order to take over his uncle's inn. These rings are the only real piece of spellcraft he originated.
While wearing a Ring of Therem, you may move your hands as if making arcane movements in order to make musical, ghost-like sounds. You may make Perform checks using the ring in place of an instrument, although you require at least one hand free and you suffer Arcane Spell Failure for your performance.
After 24 hours, you may use your ranks in any Perform check as if they were also ranks in Perform (Ring of Therem). If you actually put at least one rank in Perform (Ring of Therem), you gain a +2 bonus on any Perform skill checks made with the Ring, you may ignore the ASF when Performing with it, and you can use the ring to get a +2 bonus on Intimidate checks by making eery, ghostly noises.
The Ring of Therem does not require a feat to create. The Ring of Therem does not cost experience points to create.
Prerequisites: CL 1, Silent Image, Perform (Any) 4 ranks.
