She gently glided off the wall, her hat casting a large shadow over her face.
A black conical witch hat with a large brim, it usually made of dark leather or black fabric and usually seem weathered. It is traditionally used by witches and other hexers to conceal their identity and grant telekinetic abilities. The Old Witch Hat act as a Privacy Hat whose anonymity effect can be resumed or suppressed as a a free action by adjusting the height of the brim. The wearer of the hat is also able to use greater mage handSpC as a spell-like ability at-will.
If worn by a character capable of using hexes it grant them the ability to use the flight hex for as long as she wears the hat. If the wearer was already capable of using this hex, she count her witch level as 4 higher than normal for it benefits and duration.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, darkness, greater mage handSpC, fly or flight hex.
