A geometric cube envelops the landscape and the psion and his target vanish. There will be no collateral damage here...

You transport yourself and your target to a small demiplane that is a warped mimicry of the real world. To others it appears that both of you leave the battlefield, while to yourself it is the rest of the world which melts away. A successful Will save prevents the teleportation of both you and your target. Those who fall victim to this power are at the same distance away from you as they were originally. The demiplane is 100 ft + 10 ft/level radius from yourself. You can make the terrain however you like, but it cannot be a hostile terrain (or any more hostile than your original terrain). You can create minor details such as the color of the floor or sky and lighting, and create obstructions and weather effects which count as difficult terrain or things which obscure, such as cloud cover, darkness, or foliage. You cannot create or remove outright obstructions such as a wall or building.

Manifesters typically choose to start out combat in the demiplane with the terrain to their advantage. As a standard action you may alter up to a 20 ft. radius of terrain to a different terrain. You do not need line of effect to change the terrain. This demiplane lasts until the enemy is slain, you dismiss it, or the duration runs out.

Augment: By spending an additional 2 power points, you can cause the terrain to be hostile to the opponent. This can take any form... poisonous plants, stinging hail, choking clouds, and so forth. The result is the same either way, resulting in 1d8 points of damage a round. For every 2 power points beyond this amount the damage increases by another +1d8 points. The manifester is not affected or hampered by the damaging terrain.

By spending an additional 4 power points, you can apply a dimensional anchor effect to the opponent to ensure they cannot plane shift away under their own power.

By spending an additional 4 power points, you can choose not to travel into your own demiplane, effectively locking them away for the duration.
