Invigorating Dance [Skill]
Grant an ally an extra turn through the power of dance.Prerequisites: Bardic music, bardic dance, or virtuous performance
Benefits: This is a skill feat that scales with your ranks in Perform (dance).
- 0 ranks: You gain an extra daily use of bardic music (or your equivalent class feature).
- 4 ranks: You gain an extra daily use of bardic music (or your equivalent class feature).
As a standard action, you may expend 3 uses of bardic music, bardic dance, or virtuous performance to perform a special dance for one ally. You must be adjacent to the ally who will benefit from the dance, and you must succeed on a DC 17 Perform (dance) check or this ability fails and is wasted. If you succeed, the ally you target immediately gets to take a single swift or immediate action, without affecting initiative order. (After your ally takes the action granted by this ability, you take your remaining actions (if you have any), then the remainder of the current round continues as normal (unless your initiative count is the lowest of all those who were eligible to act in the current round, in which case the next round begins with the highest initiative count).) You cannot target yourself with this ability. - 9 ranks: As the rank 4 ability, except if your check result exceeds 22, you may grant your ally a single swift, immediate, or move action (the latter taken as if an immediate action, except it is a move action and can be used for anything a move action could be used for).
- 14 ranks: As the rank 4 ability, except if your check result exceeds 27, you may grant your ally a single swift or immediate action and a single standard or move action.
- 19 ranks: As the rank 4 ability, except if your check result exceeds 32, you may grant your ally an entire round's worth of actions (one swift/immediate action, and either one move action and one standard action, two move actions, or one full-round action).
