Hometown Advantage [Archetype]
Benefit: You gain a favored terrain similar to a pathfinder ranger and benefit from advantages when in that terrain type.
Archetype Feat Bonus are based on HD.
You have perfectly adapted to life in your hometown terrain, and it gives you tactical advantages. Some terrains are not necessarily cut and dry especially when transitioning from one to another. If an area fits the description of multiple different terrain types then they count as all those different terrains. Settlements of 200 population and smaller tend not to have streets, sewers, or significant clusters of buildings, and as such they just count as the terrain that surrounds their settlement rather than as an urban development.

- 1 HD: You gain a hometown terrain, that gives you a hometown advantage. While in a terrain type that matches your hometown terrain, your hometown advantage grants +2 circumstance bonus that applies to Knowledge (local) and 3 skills chosen from either the ranger skill list, or any Charisma skills other than Use Magic Device and Use Psionic Device, and you may treat these skills as class skills regardless of your class. When traveling through your hometown terrain you leave no trail or scent and cannot be tracked (though you may leave a trail or scent if choose to do so).
- 3 HD: Once per day while in your hometown terrain you may spend 10 minutes to secure enough food and water to sustain two medium creatures per level (double the amount of creatures for each step smaller, and halve the amount for each step larger). The food lasts 24 hours before spoiling.
Your hometown advantage now grants a +4 circumstance bonus.
- 8 HD: You may move unhindered by difficult terrain while in your hometown terrain.
Your hometown advantage now grants a +6 circumstance bonus.
- 15 HD: While in your hometown terrain you may cast find the path as a Spell-like Ability once per day.
Your hometown advantage now grants a +8 circumstance bonus.
