This spell is designed to work with the Z's Endurance Points variant rule. Without that variant rule, this spell becomes much stronger; Use at your own risk.
5e Spell
Gift of Recovery
1st-level evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
Casters: Artificer, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Paladin, Ranger
The creature touched has its natural healing accelerated to a breakneck pace. The creature immediately regains 1 hit point, and gains temporary hit points equal to 2d8 + your spellcasting modifier, which last until the spell ends.
Additionally, at the start of each of its turns while the spell persists, the creature regains 1 hit point, as long as they have at least 1 hit point at the start of that turn.
This spell has no effect on undead or constructs. This spell cannot restore a creature to a total number of current hit points exceeding one-half of their maximum hit points (Rounded down).
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the temporary hit points increase by 1d8, and the healing on each of the creature's turns increases by 1, for each slot level above 1st.
