Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Self (5ft Radius)
Components: S, M (A melee weapon worth at least 1sp)
Duration: 1 Round
Casters: Artificer, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard, Warlock
You brandish the weapon used in the spell’s casting and make a melee attack with it against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects, and until the start of your next turn, crystalline armor of force spreads across your body. While this crystal persists, you gain a +2 bonus to your AC; The crystal armor is destroyed early if you take damage other than Psychic damage.
At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the target takes an additional 1d8 points of magical Piercing damage on a successful hit, as razor-sharp crystalline structures spontaneously grow into the target at the point of impact. This damage increases to 2d8 at 11th level, and 3d8 at 17th level.
