Burrowing Worms is a both a curse and a disease in 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons.

Unofficial Description: A worm, thrown off by a Spawn of Kyuss, burrows under the skin. The victim will continue taking necrotic damage until it dies. Soon after it rises as another Spawn of Kyuss, a form of undead.
