This masterwork war torch is magical in spite of lacking a +1 enhancement. Its abilities are stronger than normal, plus additional benefits below.
Barbarian Flame: If you have rage or similar abilities, you gain an additional +1d6 fire damage to the torch when raging.
Berserker Charge: As a full attack action you can move up to your move speed and make a full attack, plus two additional attacks at your highest attack bonus and at -5 (does not stack with haste). All attacks count as the same attack for the purpose of damage reduction and resistances. This counts as a charge, but you take a -4 penalty on AC instead of -2.
Chip Damage: Even if you miss with your attack, if you hit touch AC you deal your minimum fire damage. For example, a flaming war torch deals 2d6 fire damage, and 2 fire damage if dealing chip damage.
Flame Breath: The range of the flame breath is doubled, and does d6s in damage dice. In addition creatures and objects must make a Reflex save DC 15 or catch on fire.
Quick Lit: You can light (or snuff) the torch as a free action. The torch cannot be snuffed out by anything short of the wielder, and it burns even when underwater (admittedly as a cloud of steam).
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, burning hands, haste.
Cost to Create: 1805 gp, 120 EXP, 3 days.
