Battlelock
A warlock whose eldritch blast manifests as a corporeal weapon, and takes on a more martial stance.
Class: Warlock
Level: 1st-20th
Replaces: Eldritch Blast, BAB, Armor and Weapon Proficiency, Saving Throws, Deceive Item
Benefit: The battlelock gains the following abilities.
BAB, Saves, and Proficiency: A battlelock is proficient in all simple and martial weapons, and in light and medium armor. They may cast their invocations in medium armor as if it were light. In addition, they gain good BAB, and a good Fortitude save.
Eldritch Weapon (Su): At will a battlelock can summon to their hand a supernatural weapon that can be any weapon they are proficient with and which requires a normal attack roll. This weapon counts as a masterwork weapon, and may be enhanced by inscribing runes upon the warlock themselves. Summoning this weapon is the same action as drawing a normal weapon. They may only have one such weapon out at a time unless they have Two-Weapon Fighting in which case they may have two at once. They may dismiss said weapon as a free action on their turn, and the hands of anyone else it is merely a masterwork weapon of its type.
The eldritch weapon deals its weapon damage + 1 extra magic damage for every dice their eldritch blast would have gained on a normal warlock. Strength applies as if it were a normal weapon. For example, a level 5th warlock should have a +3 bonus to damage on their weapon. Eldritch shapes are worthless to them, but they may apply eldritch essences to their eldritch weapon, attacking multiple times if able. However any one creature can only can be affected by an essence once per round. Essences that change the damage type of the eldritch blast transform the damage type of the entire weapon. This replaces Eldritch Blast and its progression.
Invoking Strike (Su): At 6th level, a battlelock can make a full attack action to make a single eldritch weapon attack and cast a single invocation of a standard action or less in the same motion. This casting does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
