Astrological Spell [Metamagic] Benefit: If the spell is not cast in a place with line of sight to the stars, while the stars are aligned, at night, it fails. Otherwise, rays of light come down from the sky, revealing your location to everyone who has line of sight to the sky in your direction.

An astrological spell ends no later than halfway before the next alignment of the stars.

An astrological spell uses up a spell slot one level lower than the spell’s actual level. Special: Casters with astrological spell can choose to learn new spells with astrological spell already applied, potentially in order to gain spells beyond their usual limits. Spells learned in this way do not take additional time to cast, although they cannot cast or prepare those spells without astrological spell applied.

The stars align every 1d6 days and 2d6 hours, for a period of 1 round. Predicting the next such event requires a DC 15 Knowledge (The Planes) check; every +10 to the DC allows the character to predict alignments one iteration later.
