Agoraphobia

You are deathly afraid of any wide-open spaces and/or large groups of people (more than a handful in any given area), especially when situated outside or in any large room or cavern.

Prerequisite: Must be any PC adventuring, humanoid race with an Intelligence above 3, and Wisdom no higher than 14. Does not work so well with avian (those which can naturally fly), or moreso "sociable" races (like halflings), but good luck with that!

Effect: Suffer -4 on Survival checks, -4 on Initiative checks, -4 on BAB "to hit" rolls, and -2 on Will saves, when outside or in large expansive areas. Adventurers with agoraphobia prefer or are more at peace with or in any small huts, little houses, closets, slim or winding corridors, tunnels, tight spaces, and that kind of thing. "Safety in numbers" is NOT the thing you will ever hear coming out of their mouth, nor thought in their head. Such types tend to be "lone wolves" and prefer only a very small, tight-knit, well- and long-known social group, if even beyond 1 or 2 people at all. Plus, the close safety and security of a full set of platemail (full-headed helm to steel boots) can also become very reassuring and comforting to those with Agoraphobia.

Benefit: Any bonus feat for which you meet the prerequisites.

Special: If you are traveling, or in combat in... any outside, giant/expansive, or cavernous area; or when sojourning or in combat with large groups of people or against a large horde monsters (either/or/both/all -- think any enemy group larger than 5 monsters or NPCs); then you automatically fumble any melee weapons (but you operate fine, at range), and seek to run to, or hide in... the closest small, or tight, closed-space for optimal security. Ranged combat still makes you nervous against such groups, but not as badly as melee (up-close and personal) does. When these tremendous feelings of insecurity of agoraphobia suddenly hit you from afar, or out of nowhere, then you also automatically and temporarily fail all Diplomacy, Bluff, Sense Motive, and Sanity checks. And any Leadership skill ranks you have are temporarily zeroed until the situation is resolved more comfortably.
