Sorcerer is a class in One D&D.

Unofficial Description: Whether from some power within their DNA, they were born under the right stars, they had a tramatic event, or some other reason, they have the ability to tap into a deep well of magic within themselves.[1]


Creating a Sorcerer

Primary Ability: Charisma
To create a Sorcerer, consult the following lists, which provide Hit Points, Proficiencies, and Armor Training. If you’re making a 1st-level character, also consult the “Starting Equipment” section, and if you’re using the multiclassing rules, see the “Multiclassing and the Sorcerer” section.

Then look at the Sorcerer table to see the Class Features you get at each level in this Class. The descriptions of those features appear in the “Sorcerer Class Features” section.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d6 per Sorcerer level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 6 + your Constitution modifier
Hit Points per Level after 1st: 1d6 (or 4) + your Constitution modifier

Proficiencies

Saving Throws: Constitution, Charisma.
Skills: Choose 2 from Arcana, Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Persuasion, Religion.
Weapons: Simple Weapons
Tools: None

Armor Training

None

Starting Equipment

As a 1st-level character, you start with the following equipment, or you can forgo it and spend 50 GP on equipment of your choice. Arcane Focus (Crystal), Dagger, Dungeoneer's Pack, Spear, 28 GP

If your group uses the multiclassing rules in the Player's Handbook, here’s what you need to know if you choose Sorcerer as one of your Classes.

Innate Sorcery

Summary: You always have Sorcerous Burst and Chaos Bolt prepared.[1]

Spellcasting

1st level sorcerer feature
Summary: You can cast spells.[1]

  • Cantrips. You start with 4 from the Arcane spell list. The number increases with your Sorcerer level.
  • Spell Slots. TThe Sorcerer table indicates the number of Spell Slots to which you have access.
  • Prepared Spells of 1st+ Level. You can prepare a number of spells as shown on the Sorcerer Overview table. Some class or subclass features, such as Innate Sorcery, may provide additional prepared spells that do not count toward this number.
  • Changing Your Prepared Spells. Each time you gain a new Sorcerer level, you may replace a prepared spell with another from the Arcane spell list.
  • Spellcasting Ability. Charisma is your spellcasting ability.
  • Spellcasting Focus. You can use an Arcane Focus as a Spellcasting Focus.

Summary: You gain Sorcery Points and can use them for a variety of effects.[1]

  • Sorcery Points. You gain Sorcery Points (see Sorcerer Overview table).
  • Converting a Spell Slot to Sorcery Points. You may use a Bonus Action to convert Sorcery Points to Spell Slots.
  • Creating Spell Slots. You may use a Bonus Action to convert Spell Slots to Sorcery Points.

Summary: You always have Wish prepared. If you use Wish to duplicate a 1st-8th level spell, you can use a lower Spell Slot (once per Long Rest).[1]

Epic Boon

20th level sorcerer feature
Summary: Boost Charisma (max. 30) and gain Epic Boon (Epic Boon of Energy Resistance suggested).[1]
