1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

A cousin of the swordcane, the spearcane has much shorter hidden and it main mechanic rely on a collapsible shaft. When the proper trigger mechanism is activate the hidden blade spring up and the shaft greatly lengthen. The triggering mechanism may be activated as a free action, but require the same type of action required to sheathe to be collapsed into a cane again. A spearcane has reach when used in it spear form, however it cannot be used to threaten adjacent creatures.

The spearcane gets a +20 circumstance bonus to disguise checks to appear as a non-weaponized normal cane. If undiscovered, when the spearcane is drawn creatures are flatfooted against its attacks for 1 round. In it cane form the spearcane can be used as a one-handed weapon, dealing the secondary listed bludgeoning damage and do not possess reach.

You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a spearcane and sheathe sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you.

Both the swordcane and the spearcane share the same proficiency.
