Eidolon Types[edit]
Below are the Types you may choose for your Eidolon.
Your Eidolon gains the listed benefits, based on which Type you chose for it.
Aberration[edit]
- Aberration Resistance: When this Type takes Psychic, Acid or Necrotic damage, that damage is reduced by the Shaman's PB.
- Aberration Resilience: When an Eidolon of this type gains makes a saving throw against an effect that inflicts the Charmed or Frightened condition, they may roll a d4 and add the result to their saving throw.
- Telepathy: This Type can telepathically communicate with any creature it can see within 60ft of it. Its telepathic utterances are in a language it knows, and the creature understands the Eidolon only if it knows that language. This Type's communication doesn't give the creature the ability to respond to the Eidolon telepathically. This benefit extends to the Shaman while they are within 30ft of this Eidolon.
- Aberration Spells: This Type grants you the Encode Thoughts cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.

Celestial[edit]
- Celestial Resistance: When this Type takes Radiant, Lightning or Necrotic damage, that damage is reduced by the Shaman's PB.
- Celestial Resilience: When an Eidolon of this type gains makes a saving throw against an effect that inflicts the Charmed or Frightened condition, they may roll a d4 and add the result to their saving throw.
- Healing Light: An Eidolon of this Type can choose to shed a restorative light, igniting of quenching this light using their bonus action. While this light is active, they shed bright light in a 30ft radius, and dim light out to a 60ft radius. When a creature within the bright light regains hit points, you may roll a d4 and add the result to the number of hit points they regain.
- Celestial Spells: This Type grants you the Word of Radiance cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.

Construct[edit]
- Construct Fortitude: This Type gains additional hit points equal to twice your Shaman level.
- Construct Resilience: When an Eidolon of this type gains makes a saving throw against an effect that inflicts the Charmed, Frightened or Paralyzed condition, they may roll a d4 and add the result to their saving throw.
- Artificial Repair: If the Mending spell is cast on this Eidolon, it regains 2d6 hit points.
- Construct Spells: This Type grants you the Mending cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.

- Dragon Variant: Choose one family of dragon: Chromatic, Gem, or Metallic. Your Eidolon is a Dragon of the chosen kind, and gains different benefits from the Dragon Type depending on the family chosen.
- Dragon Resilience: When an Eidolon of this type gains makes a saving throw against an effect that inflicts the Frightened or Paralyzed condition, they may roll a d4 and add the result to their saving throw.
Chromatic[edit]
- Chromatic Dragon Resistance: Choose one of the following damage types: Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Poison. When an Eidolon of this Type takes damage of that type, that damage is reduced by twice the Shaman's PB.
- Chromatic Dragon Breath: When an eidolon of this type deals damage with a Breath Weapon, if the Breath Weapon's damage type is the same as the damage type you selected for its Chromatic Dragon Resistance ability, the damage of that breath weapon is increased by 2d6. Additionally, when the Eidolon successfully lands a Bite attack, you can choose for it to deal 1d6 additional points of damage; This damage is of the same type you selected for its Chromatic Dragon Resistance ability.
- Chromatic Dragon Spells: This Type grants you the Thaumaturgy cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.

Elemental[edit]
- Elemental Resilience: When an Eidolon of this type gains makes a saving throw against an effect that inflicts the Frightened or Paralyzed condition, they may roll a d4 and add the result to their saving throw.
- Elemental Variant: Choose one element: Air, Earth, Fire, or Water. Your Eidolon is an Elemental of the chosen element, and gains different benefits from the Elemental Type depending on the element chosen.
- Air Elemental Resistance: When this Type takes Lightning or Thunder damage, that damage is reduced by the Shaman's PB.
- Airborne Movement: If this Eidolon possesses or later gains a Flying speed, it can hover, and its Flying speed is increased by 10ft.
- Air Elemental Spells: This Type grants you the Gust cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.

- Earth Elemental Resistance: When this Type takes Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage from a nonmagical attack that is not silvered, that damage is reduced by the Shaman's PB.
- Earthborne Movement: If this Eidolon possesses or later gains a Burrowing speed, its Burrowing speed is increased by 10ft, and it may burrow through nonmagical, unworked earth and stone. While doing so, the Eidolon doesn't disturb the material it moves through.
- Earth Elemental Spells: This Type grants you the Mold Earth cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.

- Fireborne Movement: If this Eidolon possesses or later gains a Climbing speed, its Climbing speed is increased by 10ft, and it may freely move up, down, and across vertical surfaces while leaving its limbs free, provided the surface is flammable.
- Fire Elemental Spells: This Type grants you the Control Flames cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.

- Waterborne Movement: If this Eidolon possesses or later gains a Swimming speed, its Swimming speed is increased by 10ft. While fully submerged in water, the Eidolon gains advantage on Athletics, Perception and Stealth checks.
- Water Elemental Spells: This Type grants you the Shape Water cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.

- Fey Spells: This Type grants you the Friends cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.

- Dark Revelry: When an Eidolon of this type lands a critical hit or reduces a target to 0hp with a melee attack, all of its movement speeds increase by 10ft, and its movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks. This lasts until the beginning of its next turn, and cannot be used again until the beginning of the Eidolon's next turn.
- Fiend Spells: This Type grants you the Produce Flame cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.

- Monstrosity Resistance: When this Type takes Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage from a nonmagical attack that is not silvered, that damage is reduced by the Shaman's PB.
- Monstrous Mutation: An Eidolon of this Type gains an additional Evolution of your choice at 1st level, as Monstrosities are as varied as the events that create them.
- Monstrosity Spells: This Type grants you the Primal Savagery cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.

- Undead Resilience: When an Eidolon of this type gains makes a saving throw against an effect that inflicts the Frightened or Paralyzed condition, they may roll a d4 and add the result to their saving throw.
- Undead Fortitude: If damage reduces an Eidolon of this Type to 0 Hit Points, it must make a Constitution saving throw with a DC of 5 + the damage taken, unless the damage is Radiant, or dealt by a critical hit. On a success, the Eidolon drops to 1 hit point instead.
- Undead Spells: This Type grants you the Chill Touch cantrip; Your Eidolon can also cast the cantrip. This Type also grants you bonus spells known of various levels. These spells are Shaman spells for you, and do not count against your number of Shaman spells known.
- You cannot use Type Spells to Barter for a Retrieved spell, nor can you replace them upon gaining a Shaman level. Likewise, your Type Spells are not affected by Restricted Casting, as they result from your connection directly to your Eidolon, rather than from your connection to the Other Side.
