Wyrmscale[edit]

While Dragonhide as strong as steel and made from some of a dragon's best scales it is possible to further enhance them. Usually chosen made from Dragonhide collected from older dragons, wyrmscale is treated alchemically and aged for a few decades to form an extremely strong material. While usually collected from various dragon, a set of matching scales is worth it weight in gold.

Wyrmscale count and grant the same benefits as Adamantine, Dragonhide and Monsterhide except that it can be applied to any armor, either made of fabric/hide or metal. If made from a specific type of dragon (see monsterhide) it also grant Energy Resistance 15 against any energy type the dragon was immune to, however you must pay the extra cost and the armor require the scale of a ancient dragon or older. If made from the scales of a great wyrm it provide immunity instead of resistance.

The process of creating Wyrmscale take 1d4x10 years and require both a Craft (Tanning & Textile) and (Alchemy) check, both considered complex items.
