Virtuoso Tailor [General]
The wizard can conjure fireballs, and the cleric can raise the dead. Is having pockets for my dress too much to ask?Prerequisites: 4 ranks in Craft (Tailor) or similar skillBenefit: When making clothing using Craft (Tailor) or a similar skill you may choose two types of mundane clothing outfits and combine them into a single outfit that has the most beneficial properties of both (except weight, cost and armor classification) if able to meet a Crafting DC +5 higher than the highest DC of the two outfits. Such outfits are custom tailored to the wearer and only give their benefits to that character. Treat these as Masterwork items with +50 gp cost to the combined clothing outfit costs.
Example: Fancy Clothing combined with Functional Clothing would have the statistics and abilities of Functional Clothing and the bonuses to Bluff and Diplomacy from Fancy Clothing. Winter Clothes combined with Fancy Clothing would be Medium Armor with +2 AC, +6 Max Dex, -1 Armor Check, Weigh 25 lbs, and give the properties of each.Special: If using Pathfinder skills the Prerequisite is reduced to 1 rank.
- This feat uses Tome Armor rules, and applies specifically to clothing outfits including: Camouflaged Clothing, Fancy Clothing, Functional Clothing, Thief's Clothing, Traveler's Cloak, Leather Armor, Still Suit, Winter Clothes, and Elaborate Gown, in addition to mundane outfits found in SRD or other approved clothing outfits.
- For a High balance option this feat becomes an Item creation feat and may be used to create and combine magical clothing or armors, using a mundane armor or clothing as one of the two components limited to those from the Low Balance version, and the other compnent from Tome Armor rules including: Robe of the Archmagi, Robe of Eyes, Robe of Many Colors, Ironskin Leather, Mithril Shirt, Spiderweb Clothing, Darkleaf Armor, Naga Hide, and Mithril Suit. The cost for one of these outfits is the combined clothing outfit cost +5000 gp.
