Vibrating weapons make the screaming or screaming burst weapon enhancements grow with power with every strike. Vibrating can only be placed on weapons which possess the ScreamingMIC or Screaming BurstMIC weapon enhancements. For each cumulative hit the weapon deals in a round, its sonic damage is increased by +1d4 points. For example a screaming longsword +1 would deal 1d8 slashing and 1d4 sonic on its first hit, 1d8 slashing and 2d4 sonic on the second hit, 1d8 slashing and 3d4 sonic on the third hit, and so forth. Burst effects are similarly multiplied, such as dealing 3d8 points of damage on the third hit if it is a confirmed critical.
Vibrating weapons are immune to sonic damage. They visibly shake the more times you strike with it, though it does not affect your grip or accuracy. Only attacks made by the weapon count towards increasing its damage, attacks by other weapons do not increase the total.
