Yeah what? As the others have mentioned, this is just all sorts of unbalanced and arbitrary and... strange. Considering this is a website basically devoted to strange, this is like, that but in a bad way. I don't even understand how this is even supposed to work. Why only three creature types? Ugh, oppose. |

It's a longsword that deals piercing damage. In addition, it costs twice as much, costs a feat, and is arbitrarily useable only by three monster types. You could make a skill trick "sword cough", but this adds nothing to the game and takes up space. |

The rash of animalesque-only items and spells always baffled me, and 9/10 there were already options (or it was never a problem) for said creatures. This is one of those things, a martial weapon under the guise of exotic, and for what purpose?
Also EW. And OW. |

No reason to take this as an exotic weapon. The thing that's supposed to make it special is not described mechanically at all. There's no attack option granted, to the point where it's not even a mouthpick weapon. The way I'm reading it, I vomit it up and then wield it like a dagger. Whoop-de-fucking-doo. |

"A throat blade is a blade that the user hides in his throat and can regurgitate as a free action to attack with just like a regular blade."
I don't know if I should say EW or OW. I wonder if you were aware of Mouthpick weapons. Same idea, much less... painful/disturbing methods, and works with any weapon. -- Eiji-kun 05:37, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
