Summersite

Summersites are humanoids who can blast energy beams from various parts of their bodies.

Personality

Summersites are proud people who take themselves and their jobs very seriously. In other words, they are not known for their sense of humor, but their pride allows them to achieve great things.

Physical Description

Summersites appear to be human. If there is anything to set them apart at all, it is usually some unusual piece of gear or a small apparatus that they wear to keep their power in check. For example, if their power to blast energy comes from their eyes, they must wear a wrap-around eye piece in order to focus the optic blasts.

Relations

Friendly summersites may get along very well with humans as well as other humanoid races. Since they carry the mutant X gene, some summersites may choose only to associate themselves with other humanoid mutants.

Alignment

Summersites may vary from good to evil, but all of them are highly rational, precluding most of them from being chaotic.

Lands

By default, summersites live mostly in human-populated areas.

Language

Common. As a bonus language, summersites may learn anything being spoken openly in their region.

Names

Since most summersites are brought up among humans, they most often have human names, using whatever conventions are common in their area.

Racial Traits

• +4 Constitution: Energy blasts are based on constitution.
• Humanoid (Mutant, Summersite) 
• Medium: As a Medium creature, a summersite has no special bonuses or penalties due to its size.
• Summersite base land speed is 30 feet.  
• Energy Blast (Sp): 2 times per day, all summersites may fire a blast of energy from a pre-designated part of their body (for instance, the eyes or hands). This choice of focal point is permanent. The effect of the energy blast is similar to eldritch blast with the caster level equal to the summersite's Con bonus. Summersites may make additional blasts with certain consequences: After the initial two blasts have been expended, every subsequent blast causes fatigue in the user, and every blast made while fatigued causes the summersite to be exhausted. Summersites cannot use their energy blast while exhausted.
