Skill Changes[edit]
- Simplified Skills (3.5e Variant Rule)
- I'm going with 'once a class skill, always a class skill'.
- You guys all get one Knowledge/Craft/Profession skill for free, at max ranks for your level, based on your background.
- Craft is one skill - for each level you have, you pick another kind of crafting. At 1st level, you pick two.
- Same with Perform.
- Profession isn't a skill anymore - if your backgrounds says you can, you can.
- Balance and Tumble become Acrobatics.
- Climb and Swim become Athletics.
- Open Lock is gone. Decipher Script is gone. Forgery is gone.
- Disable Device folds in Open Lock.
- Jump stays as Jump.
- Appraise folds in Decipher Script.
- Craft folds in Forgery.
- Use Magic Device can't mimic caster levels above your own.
- Hide and Move Silently become Stealth.
- Listen and Spot become Perception.
- Diplomacy won't let you rule the world, but I figured you got that. :P
Stunting Overview[edit]
Describe something in a cool or awesome way, and you get to roll 2d20 and keep the highest or force the opponent to roll 2d20 and keep the lowest. This is called a one-die stunt because it adds one die. If you do something awesome using the environment or by a show of votes, in which the observers are counted too, you may get a two-die stunt. Once per session, in which you must use the environment, and get a majority vote, you may earn a three-die stunt.
Cannon[edit]
You can influence the story. See the second setup log for how. *Will write up later.*
Observers[edit]
There is the Dungeon Master. There are the players. And finally, there are the observers. The observers are there to watch, but may also participate in the following ways:
