Your speed is reduced as if you were wearing heavy armor, with all the penalties therein, and your weight increases eightfold. However, you become immune to critical hits, sneak attacks, falling prone, staggering, stunning, or any effect which would force you to move from your space not of your own violation. You gain an armor check penalty of -20, though you do not take this penalty for non-proficiency in your pseudo-heavy armor.
