1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
Generally considered a bad idea, some fool thought "if a trident is basically three daggers on a stick, what if we used longswords?" And so the triswordent was born. It is a massive, clunky beast that has three longswords for points. It deals a lot of damage, but attacks with the weapon take a -2 penalty to use (which stacks with non-proficiency).
The triswordent has reach, so you can strike opponents 10 feet away with it, but you can’t use it against an adjacent foe.
The weapon can be disassembled as a 1 round action into three longswords and a quarterstaff, unheld pieces falling to your feet. Only one of these weapons (chosen on disassembly) carries the enhancement properties of the triswordent, but they all carry the material properties. Recombining the triswordent takes 1 minute. If your weapon is sundered, you can choose to immediately disassemble the triswordent into its components instead of breaking.
