Character Creation[edit]

The Player can play as any combination of Race, Class, Background, and Alignment they want. the Players need to discuss with the DM, how the Player Charter got to the City of Deep Water.

Non-Drow/ Underdark Races Unless the Player Character has a Background that would allow them to network with Drow society of Deep Webs; the Player Characters are assumed to be Slaves captured and traded to into the Underdark. If all the Players are Slaves, then the campaign can be set around an escape and expedition back to the surface.

Subsequently, Non-Underdark Player Characters' campaign could be focused around a search and rescue requiring the party to infiltrate The City of Deep Webs.

Keep in Mind that this Campaign Setting is difficult for low Level Players, Deaths may occur, but new Player Characters can be made from the unending supply of Slaves.

Speak with Your DM about the type of Campaign he/she is planning on running in this setting and design your character accordingly.

Drow/Underdark Races

This Campaign Setting lends is self well to all Drow/ Underdark Race parties. Players can once again choose any combination of Underdark Race, Class, Background, and Alignment they want.

However, keeping in mind Drow Society is Matriarchal, only Females can be rulers, clerics, and Paladin classes. Male Player Characters must be subservient to Females in the open, (what happens in the shadows is a different matter).
