This trident was once unremarkable until it had been bathed in the blood of a cursed creature and became warped and hostile itself. Its dark rough surface is topped with two twisting wrought iron spines with jagged edges.
The teran fork is a masterwork cold iron trident associated with cold weather and stormy waters. It can be used underwater with no penalties, does not rust, and when wielded it grants the user endure elements (warm only) as it cools the air around it. It also deals an additional +2 cold damage on a successful attack. This is a magical effect (with price altered from cold iron accordingly), but does not require a base +1 enhancement.
A terrible anger is infused into the weapon. As a swift action the user can enter a pseudo-rage state (which stacks with rage), granting +2 morale bonus to attack and damage, a -2 penalty to AC, the inability to use any abilities that require Concentration, and 1 temporary hp per character level. Temporary hp is gained upon activating this ability and it overlaps, it does not stack. This may be used 2/day, and lasts for 5 minutes. While in a pseudo-rage you may not willingly sheathe or remove the weapon from your grasp.
If the teran fork is wielded at the same time as the Mither Blade the two weapons enter conflict and both of their respective elements change to electric damage. The user is cloaked in a maelstrom of winds which gives -10 to Move Silently checks, but grants immunity against harmful gases, clears smoke and fog out to your reach, and provides a -4 penalty to projectile attacks against you. This conflict persists for up to 1 minute, and after 1 minute one of the two weapons at random shuts off all of its magical abilities for 10 minutes.
The teran fork is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but is not an artifact and thus may be destroyed or enhanced further as normal.
