Originally discovered as part of a small trove, perhaps as a unique curiosity, these disks have been replicated and are gaining popularity among travelers for their conveniences.
This ceramic disk is mostly white with blue detailing. What at first appears to be a dinner plate has a hefty flat knob on located in the center on the bottom.
When that knob is twisted, the disk projects a field of force out to its full size and begins hovering as a floating disk, carrying up to 400 pounds, faithfully following whoever twisted its knob to activate it. It can be deployed in this fashion for up to 4 hours per day, used in 1 hour increments.
It can be deactivated at any point during any increment and reactivated, with any elapsed duration decremented. This is often done to change who deployed it.
The disk has Hardness 15 and 10 HP.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, floating disk.
