Talk:Two-Weapon Wall (3.5e Feat)
From Dungeons and Dragons Wiki
Dumb Question[edit]
I really love this feat; However, I wondered how it would work when using TWF with a shield as one of your weapons? Logically it wouldn't work, since you can't exactly spin a shield the same way you can with a sword or an axe, though of course the wall presented by the shield could be enough. I ask because one of my favorite TWF builds is a mainhand heavy shield/offhand scimitar build (One I'm now itching to build a PRC for), and when I stumbled across this wonderful feat, I was immediately struck with wondering how a shield work work with it. Anyway, I'll just leave ye to chew on that; No rush with an answer. Zhenra-Khal (talk) 08:03, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- It should still work, since shields are also weapons (via Shield Bash). You'd lose your shield bonus to AC since it's being swung, unless you had Improved Shield Bash.-- Eiji-kun (talk) 08:28, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
- I figured as much; Just thought I'd bring it up in case you hadn't thought of it. Certainly gave me odd mental images, heh. Anyway, sorry for bothering you. Zhenra-Khal (talk) 08:30, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
