| Our group has used this on dozens of characters by now. Very nice item for allowing PCs to be included in discussions and role-playing social events rather than having to feel like they have to sit out because they didn't invest precious skill points so they could talk with the dwarves for the couple of sessions they're in the dwarf lands (which are actually a lot larger than one might expect). Come up as a pleasant quest reward item as well.

| I love this useful and flavourful item which was arguably lacking from the game, but the price seems much too steep to my liking.

I can answer that one. Yes! Typically monster-esque races. Gnolls, for example, only speak Gnoll by default. Also this guy deleted his tags, I'mma fix that. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 06:28, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
