Talk:Swashbuckler, STDoc Variant (3.5e Class)

Oh, Ghostwheel[edit]
You tricked one of my players into thinking that this was a Wizard-level class. --Foxwarrior 05:17, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yes... because Leadership is totally rogue-level. Oh, wait a sec, lemme get my artificer cohort to craft a few items for us and then blastify the countryside down... --Ghostwheel 06:30, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- Leadership is more or less the only thing about this class that isn't low-Rogue. While your argument is technically correct, setting the balance point to Wizard was the worst possible way to deal with it. --Foxwarrior 06:42, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- I'd like to echo Fox on this, and also add that this line of argument is retarded, and you should feel retarded for making it. First of all, you are not owed a cohort of any class, alignment or whatever by the Leadership feat as-written. Secondly, even if you were, if artificers (or other wizard-level things) are banned for players, the idea they would be allowed for cohorts is so screamingly retarded, it makes me feel I'm on GITP and not this wiki. Please take this argument out back and shoot it. Twice. For good measure. And don't ever let me find you making it again. - MisterSinister 10:58, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
