On a humourous note: gotta love that material component! -HarrowedMind 19:37, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

on a side note your example with the 28D6 blast is done by a 14 level caster casting a 9th level spell? ;) Wildmage Talk 01:23, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

Also[edit]

"For every 10 feet beyond this radius the explosion continues, subtracting 3 dice of damage each time until there are no more dice." How does this work when you have multiple types of damage (say, convert to cold and then uttercold)? Fluffykittens (talk) 19:04, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

If you have extra dice of damage (such as with Empower Spell), then you do get the potential for extra range from it. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 22:48, 12 March 2015 (UTC)
I don't think that answers the question Eiji. But since the example uttercold example just makes half of the damage negative and half cold, it seems like you could just roll 3 less dice and the split it at that time. If something is adding extra dice of a specific element that might be weird and should maybe just drop first for ease, but I don't remember / know of anything that works like that off hand. - Tarkisflux Talk 04:35, 13 March 2015 (UTC)
