Wonderful!

I would like to precise that a thrusting weapon doesn't necessarily exclude its capacity for slashing or bludgeoning damages. For example, the historical Striscia was primary intended for thrusting attacks, but could also deliver pretty effective slashing cuts, and even bludgeoning when the pommel, for example, was used to beat something. It means that a striscia can primarily deliver a piercing damage (1d8 18/20x2), and is also capable for slashing damages (1d6 18/20x2) and even, as backup, bludeoning damages (1d4x2. A common longsword is classified as "slashing" so can deliver primarily a slashing damage with the cuts (1d8 19/20x2), but also piercing damages (1d6 19/20x2) with the point and bludgeoning damages (1d4x2). The "longsword" cathergorized by D&D manuals is a "slashing-oriented longsword", but its also possible to have a more "piercing oriented longsword", as well as, for example, a more "slashing-oriented shortsword". The same may happen also with other weapons (not all of them, since a classic battleaxe is always more oriented toward cutting than towards piercing). it is possible for a weapon to have more than a damage type with equal effetiveness if its light weapon (for example "1d8 19/20x2 slashing" and 1d8 19/20x2 thrusting"); if a weapon has a heavier weight, a weapon must be classified, in general, as "exotic". If a craftman without the proper ability tries to make a two type damage weapon and fails, it may happen the weapon will deliver a lower damage roll, a lower critical, or retains penalties (for example +1 or -1) on attack rolls or on damages, or both.

Great weapon! There is the last think to add: with some extra cost, like 40 gp, also the Striscia, featuring and elaborated hilt, with Exotic Weapon Proficiency, gives a wielder with Exotic Weapon Proficiency a +2 circumstance bonus on any checks to resist being disarmed now D&D 3.5 edition is complete with all the weapons and all the suggestions!
