Honestly I see this as a monk level feat. It's only a +1 to something, and that's assuming you have something that runs off Con. Poisons and breath weapons usually, and that's it. -- Eiji-kun 15:31, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Would you say spell focus is also a monk-level feat? And that one's not even for all spells cast, just ones of a specific school. That said, this feat was created with Toxinblades in mind, who use Con as a modifier to the DCs of their abilities. --Ghostwheel 03:47, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Nearly. I can see argument for that one since its near the edge of Monk and Fighter, but it pulls ahead because A) Spells rock and B) even limited to one school, it usually covers a great deal of powers. This one lacks B, because there really very few things that tend to be based off Con, and the things that are are either poison, which is very hit or miss, and direct damage.

To put it in perspective if Spell Focus only worked on direct damage fireball it wouldn't be as valuable. It's real value comes by the fact it works on things like Fear or Flesh to Stone or whatever. -- Eiji-kun 11:03, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

That's not the only class that this feat would be good for though; another that comes off the top of my head is one you actually rated--the Dreg Knight. Since their poison is most of, if not all, they have going for them, what Dreg Knight wouldn't take this feat? Plus this would apply to any class that I haven't thought of or that may be created in the future that works DCs off of con. Heck, who's to say that someone hasn't made a class that made spell DCs go off of con? :-P --Ghostwheel 11:36, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Dreg Knight is still poison, ablit a modified superior poison. As for the other comment, when I consider the effects of these things I consider them with only WotC material, as there are a bunch of articles here and it's impossible to match this feat in every situation. So with that in mind, WotC doesn't really have the options for Con. If you find anything otherwise, feel free to inform me though. -- Eiji-kun 12:53, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
