This really isn't metamagic at all, but I like it. This option should always be available. |

Treads fairly thoroughly well-trodden ground marginally better than it was already trodden upon. |
Why the Daily Restriction?
It wouldn't be amazingly better than using sudden metamagics even without it. --Foxwarrior (talk) 20:07, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- I made this as a feat-based version of the Metamagic Specialist ACF from the PHB2, without the suck of losing your familiar, and giving non-familiar-getting spontaneous arcane casters a chance to not languor in a sea of full-round action poop until they have access to Rapid Metamagic at 9th level, and because the Arcane Preparation feat sucks. Taking the daily restriction off gives you the same thing as Rapid Metamagic at 1st level, which I did not want to do. Make sense? Spanambula (talk) 21:14, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- Does this fulfill a prerequisite for Rapid Metamagic, or should characters who will get Rapid Metamagic later avoid taking this feat?
- If the latter, you should probably have some sort of retraining option. --Foxwarrior (talk) 21:24, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
- Good point, I wasn't thinking things through there. :P Rather than mess with retraining, it seemed to make more sense to just make it so the feat scales up and becomes Rapid Metamagic at the appropriate level. Better? Spanambula (talk) 21:56, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
