Duration[edit]

Can I cast this a week in advance, make sure not to touch anyone, and then use it in combat? Can I combine it with other touch spells? --Aarnott 21:04, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Read the rules about Holding the Charge. That should answer both of your questions. - MisterSinister 22:32, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
There's a spell in the Spell Compendium called "Spell Flower" that lets you hold one charge from a touch spell in each limb. However, it only lasts 1 round/level. Thankfully, it's a level 1 spell, so you can have it prepared lots of times! --Luigifan18 (talk) 06:14, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

The damage seems good and I like the fact that it will occasionally stun when 6 damage is rolled for the recurring damage. On the same vein, this spell is very metamagic friendly, making the 6th level slot from maximize spell to actually seem pretty reasonable for a stun lock.

The touch range makes a stun more acceptable than dazing since you can use it to help a rogue come in for some stabbings.
