This spell doesn't really add anything. Pure numbers, two of which are largely irrelevant and one of which is, as Foxwarrior said, significant power creep.

A really cheap source of Dodge AC is pure power creep for higher-level characters.

I don't really have any issue with this spell (and would like it if it weren't for the following issues) except for the fact that I think it could be shot down to a level 1 spell (compare the bonuses from haste, which is a level 3 spell as well) and that its duration should probably be longer to give it a decent enough chance of being useful. One minute per level seems quite fair to me and makes it useful at level 1 from the get go.

- Yeah, I had a funny feeling that I overleveled it. Thanks for the input. --Luigifan18 (talk) 22:56, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
Stacking[edit]
...0_0; Damn! I never even thought about the possibility of casting this spell repeatedly for a really huge dodge bonus!!!! ^_^; I just patched up the problem, so it should be good now. --Luigifan18 (talk) 03:09, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think that was his concern, as that would already not be allowed under current stacking rules about "same source". I think he was more concerned about it stacking with everything else out there, and being a cheap slot to cast it out of by the time you can afford to start stacking them. If AC kept up better I might be with him on that, but it doesn't. - Tarkisflux Talk 04:11, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
