I am hesitating between the two, creature's HD vary a lot. So it make the suggestion of a cunning devil way less effective than say, some talking animal. --Leziad (talk) 16:14, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

Too much book-keeping IMO. Ultimately, it's only for SR and dispelling. Heck, with the current flavor of the flaw, I'd make it an extraordinary effect and be done with it. --Ghostwheel (talk) 19:24, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
