A good feat that builds off of mine, but tuned more to the power of VH games.

Ehhh...

Effectively 1d4 negative levels as a swift action seems no bueno, especially if you use Goad from range... --Ghostwheel (talk) 03:52, 12 September 2017 (MDT)

It's Daunt though, not negative levels. Way easier to clear. Surgo (talk) 05:25, 12 September 2017 (MDT)
Sure, but give it a round or two and it can be a pretty damn big debuff on the RNG if you don't manage to do so. I would recommend the following: Keep it as is, but the daunt levels don't affect the target for attacking you, and they get a bonus on attack rolls equal to their daunt level to attack you. That way someone in the back could pick up and throw a rock or something and hit instead of being locked down and getting worn down through the stand still fighter who's next to them while the guy in the back hits them over and over with daunt as a swift action while they're unable to do anything. I suggest this because it offers incentives and counterplay as opposed to forcing the DM to go for hard counters, which are dumb, boring, and frustrating to players. --Ghostwheel (talk) 09:03, 12 September 2017 (MDT)
I switched a lot of things either way, I didn't really like the daunt giving ability because it made Goad-only an extremely effective strategy. As funny as someone who thrash talk her for into oblivion is, I don't think it good for the game. I think the new abilities can be pretty useful, especially for a rogue or swashbuckler now. I am now worried about the 16 ranks ability though, it might be way too strong. But I couldn't think of anything else. Thoughts? --Leziad (talk) 13:10, 12 September 2017 (MDT)
Me gusta. --Ghostwheel (talk) 08:00, 13 September 2017 (MDT)
