Not Sure If Moderate...
8d6 damage is almost decent at level 11, and Quickening spells isn't really all that great yet at that level. If you can expect to use this during a pre-combat buff round, it's almost certainly a good addition to a High-balance Cleric's repertoire. --Foxwarrior (talk) 02:21, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

- Since it's blaster wizard vs. healer cleric (that's what we're doing if we're comparing moderate balance stuff IMO) mean that's not a particularly appropriate direct comparison. If that was on the cleric list directly, instead of indirectly via domain, it would probably be a level or two higher than the wizard version because clerics get mediocre or delayed blasting spells. Adding two or three spell levels in exchange for giving it a multi-round duration and eliminating the 30' targeting restriction seems fair as well. Which sets the tally at 1-2 for cleric list and 2-3 for effect changes, and leaves it at about 6th level. Which is right where it is of course, and why I think it would be ok as a standard action moderate spell.
